CUSTOMIZABLE RANDOMIZER STACKS (Powerpoint tool to teach vocabulary or sentences)

 

DESCRIPTION:
This is a teaching tool made with PowerPoint 2007 that allows to EASILY randomize custom words or short sentences in a FUN way.
The number, size and color of the blocks will AUTOMATICALLY change accordingly to the number of words you enter. When a student clicks the screen the pointer starts moving up and down, and it will stop over a sentence when pushed again.
It can be used to practice vocabulary, choose students by name or just like a dice. If you use it for vocabulary, you can give them a reward each time they know a word. Kids specially love when one of the blocks is “FREE REWARD!”. A small cute sticker will make a perfect reward.

USAGE:
Click in the white circle so a textbox window will open. In that window you can add, delete or change the words.

NOTE:
This game uses macros, so if PowerPoint shows a message saying “Security Warning – Macros have been disabled”, then you need to click “Options…” and “Enable this content”. Macros are needed to activate the movement of the pointer. The 2 macros this game uses are just for starting and pausing the animation and they don’t pose any security risk at all. You can easily see the content of the macros on VIEW > MACROS > EDIT
